If you are contemplating or haven’t gotten around to giving that strong recommendation to someone in need of care…the following is what we think sets us apart from other chiropractors and other health care practices.
On the other hand, if you haven’t set aside time to have your issues worked on that are only going to inevitably get worse as time goes on…this message is for you as well.
I always say, “when you have issues, EARLY and OFTEN are the only words that should cross your mind”. Issues are the easiest to deal with the shortest amount of time they’ve been there. You generally recover quicker as well. The longer issue(s) persist, compensations usually are the byproduct. Not only is the main issue not dealt with, which can and do get worse, but additional ones are created. This happens subconsciously a lot of times from changing how you would go about doing things (irregular and asymmetrical biomechanical activities).
Chiropractic has and always will be all natural, conservative, and non-invasive. It’s becoming more mainstream all of the time with people avoiding medications, injections, and/or surgeries. These things are sometimes necessary, but should be avoided (if at all possible). Always start with care that’s the least involved with side effects and then move your way up the ladder to the more invasive things IF desired results aren’t attained AND you can say that you’ve really given it your ALL with passive and active care.
Passive care is coming in for your visits on a frequency that gives the practitioner an opportunity to address your issues.
Active care is doing what you can to address your lifestyle issues that have led to your problems. Most people are unaware of the repetitive stress syndrome “things” that are constantly wreaking havoc on themselves. Having an ongoing conversation about what needs to be included and what needs to be avoided in our daily routine are absolutely key.
Always keep in mind that when addressing underlying issues, issues don’t go away overnight because they weren’t created overnight. Be patient and optimistic. Subtle changes happen at the very least, and momentum is gained with each passing visit. As time goes on, looking back where you once were usually makes one recognize how far they’ve come.
What are the highest likelihood potential side effects you may ask? Minimal soreness and achiness. When the body gets adjustments and soft tissue work; the body mold you’ve come in with (that’s not working for you) is getting changed. After all, it is a bit of a workout when these underlying issues are getting addressed. I always say…”on a chiropractic table getting adjusted, one of the best workouts in the world laying down!” A lot of people really appreciate customized, very specific efforts to get at the root of the problem…that is our intention. There will be less soft tissue tension and less misalignments within the skeletal system as a result of our care.
What is this going to do for you?
1. Feel Better (Main objective: pain level down to a 0)
2. Perform at a higher level (Main objective: overall health condition at or near 100%, within realistic expectations)
Everyone should treat themselves like a world-class athlete that needs and depends on their body for their livelihood. No matter who you are and what you’re doing and what you want to do in your life…you being at your very best makes it easier and more enjoyable! This message is for the gardener, house wife, weekend warrior athlete, shuffle board player, pickleball player, desk worker, someone who drives a lot, someone who sits a lot, etc…anyone that’s doing what’s apart of their life’s plan for success and happiness!
For those of you looking to move onward and upward…we look forward to helping you achieve what you want to in your lifetime.
Thanks for your trust and loyalty!
