A New Year…A New & Improved You (A better version of yourself)?!?!

Is it necessary?  What are you doing to increase the chances of that happening?

How are the New Year’s Resolutions (it’s 1 month into the new year already) going?  That word again…”Resolutions”! 🙂  For some people it makes them cringe, for some it makes them feel guilty.  For others it reminds that that the beginning of the year is one of the best times to hit the re-set button and start doing some things better.  Some of you did them, are doing them, did them in the past or just thought they were always worthless.

Whatever it is you are, should be, or are gonna work on…hopefully it all gets figured out sooner rather than later!  I’m a big fan of “improving”.  It doesn’t matter what it is…health and wellness or otherwise.  I just so happen to find that for me “health and wellness” is my go to and my cup of tea.  I’m always finding how to be the best me so I can relay in some way, shape, or form how to employ these tactics to work for others as well.  Every year I find that there are new ways to re-invent “health and wellness” with this fad or that fad or just resorting back to the basics; but in a different way possibly.  Maybe with more wisdom and experience this next time around!  I’m always pleasantly surprised with what I come up with, fortunately!  I like to have a new zest and a new theme that guides my life; it sets out a pathway for me to focus on & allows for me to yet again be able to relate to that many more things and people.  Yes and Yes!  If you’re reading this and find that this is relating to you in some way…do read on.  My guess is that 1 or 2 out of 10 who read this will find this useful and potentially very beneficial.

This year I tried a 24 day clean eating program that consisted of a cleanse for 10 days and then nutrient loading for the remainder of the time and I found out just how rewarding it all could be.  I didn’t do it to lose weight (which is usually a byproduct of putting better things into your body if you weren’t before), which I didn’t because my diet was pretty decent to begin with.  I watched what I ate (80-90% of the time) & I was very active and have always been with various things.  I did it to increase my energy and find out just how much better I could feel.  I wasn’t let down.  I even surprised myself with how enjoyable it could be.  I stuck with it and even became dare I say “addicted” to it because I was getting rewarded with feeling better and even having way more energy.  No longer was I a victim to energy lulls and happy with my “good” diet.  Taking things up a notch or two was just what was needed.  Taking supplements in an orderly fashion throughout the day is pre-determined for you, eating better (eating “right”); your choice on this, but options are made available for you to think about, drinking lots of water (yes you will urinate more & become less dehydrated, which you probably didn’t even know was the case before), and journaling (ACCOUNTABILITY) were all that were required.

I didn’t start out with the intentions of doing this to bring into my office, but I have a feeling others are needing this and they might not even know it.  I’m thinking that there are others who are looking for something like this and they just so happen to be in a place where they’re looking to do something different.  They’re tired of the same and need something different; something better in their life.  Keep in mind; you are what you eat.  Our cells are dividing constantly…what resources are you giving them to make another copy of you?  I’m guessing someone reading this is waiting for something to come their direction that makes sense and will help with their health and wellness goals.  Maybe all that’s needed is someone sharing a testimonial about something that makes sense like this and their results AND the potential same results they could have!

If you’re satisfied with where things are…hopefully you’ve made good, maybe even great decisions to get there and you’ll continue on that path!  Just know being proactive with taking care of yourself is way better in the short run & long run with time and finances vs. being reactive and you have to.  It also usually becomes more of a drain on your time and finances waiting and avoiding what you should have been doing all along.

Chiropractic and massage are key pieces as to why I’m as healthy as I am and hopefully will continue to be until the inevitable happens, which is the outcome for all of us at some point.  Why not prolong it as long as possible…increasing that likelihood anyways!  Knowing this is the case should be a major reason why we all proactively do what we can to be and stay healthy.  Let’s face it…we’re all under stress, some of us more than others and you have to have healthy means of stress reduction in your life.  Many people have unhealthy ones unfortunately, but it’s never too late to change your habits.  If you are getting adjusted and massaged hopefully you’ll continue…it you haven’t in awhile, there’s never a better time than the present!
