What are some key supplements all could benefit tremendously from and why?
There are 3 forms of stress that affect us all (mental, physical and CHEMICAL). How is your diet and if it’s not where it should be…what are you doing about it? It’s never too late to come up with a game plan…the sooner you start, the better.
These are the 4 most common ones I’ve come across from multiple sources over the last 9 years in practice.
Multi-Vitamin: This bridges the gap between your diet and where your diet should be. Most people aren’t getting enough essential ingredients when it comes to required vitamins and minerals. Low energy, poor diet, not sleeping well…this could help create balance within your system & lessen the likelihood for disease processes.
Fish Oils: These help with inflammation and are high in Omega 3 Fatty Acids (fish, dark green leafy vegetables, flaxseed, walnuts). Often associated with lowering your chance for heart disease. Most people eat too much Omega 6 Fatty Acids (breads, pastas, cereal). The ratio should be 1:1, often times it’s 20:1 or worse Omega 6 to Omega 3. Good for the hair, skin, cognitive function as well.
ProBiotics: 80% of your immune system cells are housed in the gastrointesinal tract (stomach, intestines). These balance the gut’s bacteria to more favorable ratios often helping with indigestion, irritable bowel system, constipation and boosting your overall immune system in the process as well. I’ve seen the greatest responses and at the quickest rates of any of the supplements with this one.
Vitamin D: Vitamin D3 is the form most easily recognized by the body. This helps with absorption of calcium into the bones, those affected by seasonal affective disorder, and boosts the overall immune system. Associated with preventing cancer.
The BEST supplement is ALWAYS delivered in the most naturally occurring, least chemically altered form possible.
