Sydney’s Smile Fundraiser
Paying it Forward with Educational scholarships and creating awareness while driving!
“On December 27, 2011, my family’s life changed forever with the passing of our beautiful daughter, Sydney Elaine Campbell. The accident was the result of someone not paying attention while using their cell phone and driving. During the last four years our family has searched for hope and peace to let go of what we can’t change, and focus on what we can change; leaving people better than we find them while creating a legacy for our daughter who didn’t get to create her own. The birth of “Sydney’s Smile” started in 2016 with the mission of leaving people better than we find them through a smile, kind word or kind action.”
“Our fall fundraiser will allow us to put smiles on many faces in developing countries with our partnership with Fund2org. We are collecting new and gentle used shoes to repurpose and provide an amazing economic boost by creating micro-enterprises opportunities in developing nations like Haiti and many parts of Africa, reselling the shoes for their families income. Instead of holding on to shoes you no longer wear or use, give them new life with a new owner while changing lives in remote communities around the globe.”
We are collecting shoes here at MaxLife Chiropractic through this Friday, October 14, 2016.
“If you’re interested in hosting a site please email Shelley Campbell at shelley.campbell3@gmail.com Our goal is 25,000 pairs!!!”
“The money raised will fund future scholarship at Frederic Aveda Institute where Sydney graduated in 2011. Our first $3000.00 scholarship will be awarded on August 11, 2016 at Frederic Aveda Institute at Castleton Mall, Indianapolis to one student. The students were required to develop a video essay to describe how they will pay it forward and spread kindness.”
“God Bless and thank you for participating from the bottom of our hearts!”

Hamilton County Kids Coats
REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE YOUR COATS AND WINTER WEAR!
Did you know that 4,732 children in Hamilton County live in poverty? And that 9,252 Hamilton County children take part in the free and reduced lunch program?
You can make a positive, life-affirming difference in the lives of others by reaching out to lend a helping hand! IT’S EASY to collect donations of hats, gloves, mittens, boots, and coats! We collect donations all over Hamilton County at schools, churches, libraries, and businesses. We gently ask that donors DO NOT GO TO GOODWILL to purchase donations. The families we serve shop at Goodwill and it is important that we leave that inventory intact. If you would like to purchase a coat, garage sales or year-end sales are the best places to buy coats and winter wear!
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO A LOT OF PEOPLE! When you have outgrown last year’s winter gear, wash it and RECYCLE IT! Your donations are the key to our success! Ask all of your friends and co-workers to do the same thing – have a collection! Collect clean, gently-used coats, mittens, gloves, hats, snow pants, and boots. We give them away in November!
We need your clean coats, mittens, gloves, hats, and boots!
All sizes: infants to adults
Location: Our Office
Dates of Collection: October 17th-19th
